There are all sorts of lessons on event management and staffing buried here, but I’ll just leave them buried and ask when you first heard of the Beatles, or for that matter, “Hey Jude.”
For me, it was when I was about 6 in Waldwick, N.J., and my older brothers Mike and Doug had us rush over to a neighbor’s house, where they were selling Beatles T-shirts. Then we watched the Ed Sullivan appearance.
I’m still transfixed by “Hey Jude,” which is one of the few songs I can still play on the piano.
