No, it’s not the beginning of a bad joke.
But the 41-year-old Falls Church, VA woman didn’t find a job; she became an assault victim.
According to the Annandale Patch website, the woman went to the World Employment Agency in Annandale on the morning of July 7 with the hopes of landing a new gig. Staffing specialist Choon Sik Lee, 72, had other plans in mind.
Police reported the woman was locked in a room and forced by Lee to watch pornography — before he sodomized her.
Yes, you read that correctly.
The victim reportedly told Lee she needed to use the bathroom and then fled the agency. She was later treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
On further investigation, police discovered a similar incident occurred on May 19, where a 28-year-old woman was assaulted and also suffered injuries. The Fairfax County investigators believe there are more, and are encouraging other victims to step forward.
Lee has been charged with two counts of attempted forcible sodomy. He remains in custody until an Aug. 3 preliminary hearing.
