My buddy and social media guru Ward Tongen chastised me today at the Unsummit in Minneapolis for talking up Twitter as the rage of the day. It’s not that he’s against Twitter – he’s quite active himself there. It’s simply that he sees Twitter much like Facebook and Yammer and others as a tool, a flavor-du-jour of micro-blogging.
Twitter – um, I mean micro-blogging – is taking off as the networking platform of choice for recruiters. I’ve been actively recruiting myself, and you can see my metamorphosis from reluctant participant to genuine Twitter junkie here.
