Staffing companies face some difficult choices when it comes to marketing via email.  Make it too specific and you risk violating someone’s privacy.  Make it too general and you bore your prospect to tears.   Either way the delete key or the dreaded “flag as junk mail” awaits.

Nevertheless, the lifeline of hot prospects delivered daily to your inbox is the reward for those who persist in getting the equation right.

If there is one word that separates email marketing from all others it’s “brevity”.  Unlike snail mail, there is no room for verbosity in email marketing.  Make it short and sweet.  With snail mail you imagine the prospect casually reading through your thought provoking letter, but email provides no such luxury.  You get a few seconds, max.
