For roughly a week at the end February, eight members of the TempWorks crew could be found down in sunny Orlando for Staffing Industry Analysts’ Executive Forum. (And, needless to say, given the weather as of late up in Minnesota, the rest of the staff was quite jealous.)

Much of the discussion during (and between) sessions this year focused on such heated topics as Affordable Care Act and the rise of online staffing. Many were likewise abuzz about the featured keynote address from Billy Beane, the Oakland A’s general manager and Moneyball mastermind, who took a break from MLB spring training to talk about the importance of data analytics and what it’s like to be played by Brad Pitt.

This year the annual conference drew a record number of attendees (more than 900), and our eight representatives were out there talking with current clients about the state of their business and the industry, as well as introducing new companies to how TempWorks’ software and services can help them thrive.
