Staffing companies have had it pretty easy the past couple of years when it comes to the pool of talent from which to choose. Obviously that pool is going to be drained a bit as we see more permanent jobs being posted and filled. But there are still a lot of really qualified, experienced people available for work, either on a perm or temp basis, although we all might have to work at finding and keeping them a little harder than was the case in the recent past. As for the mayor of the saloon at the Staffing Industry Executive Forum, is that like being the mayor in Foursquare? Does it pay better? In beer or martinis perhaps? Are you taking apps for the position for next year’s event? Please let your readers know if you are going to post it.
