My favorite is when you work extra in the office to make up for missing and you come in on a Saturday. Then you get your check to see that they have docked you for being sick. I don’t understand why it’s not acknowledged that I worked that time on Saturday then. Sometimes I want to take one of the jobs I am placing because they get paid hourly and are temp to hire but I love the work I do. When it comes down to it, my work is my passion so I guess I put a lot of ‘non-paid’ time into it anyhow. I just don’t want it to go unnoticed and I want to feel appreciated at the company I am at. Other than my above gripe to go along with your comic – BEST JOB EVER! ~ Julie

Mine is a national staffing company that promises a promotion and a week of training back at headquarters after nine months…then forgets about the training because your manager is working with a skeleton staff.
