Naked man runs for the woods at a music festival and falls, fractures his spinal column and the staff move him from the woods. The naked man was Daniel Weaver, of Hudson, N.Y., who was paralyzed from the chest down during last summer’s All Good Music Festival and he has sued Marvin’s Mountaintop LLC, Event Staffing Inc. of Norfolk, Va., and Maryland-based Walther Productions along with All Good Presents (whose employees he says contributed to his injuries) in U.S. District Court in Clarksburg this week. Should the staffing company have hired trained medics for these kinds of events? Is that even their responsibility? What are your thoughts? [The Republic]

that man decided to take his safety into his own hands when he did the drugs and got naked and ran crazy into the woods. the staffing company shouldn’t be liable for his stupidity. I’m sorry he is paralyzed now but he’s got to take some responsibility. the staffing company did the job they were suppose to. this story is just another example of why we do not expand into events.
