Friday night I took my daughter Anna out for Sushi at Origami in Minneapolis and later we met up with a gang from Tempworks at the Corner Coffee where The Openrs including our very own Rob Gedelian were playing.
Let me introduce them, starting with one of the highest potential software talents on the face of the planet. That would be Maggie Pint and Joe DeCock’s baby boy, an adorable kid blessed to have two highly intelligent parents, both standout developers at TempWorks. Maggie does a lot of our advanced SQL work and is the go to person for our popular time clock line of products. Joe has been working with me for the last year on a secret project I hope to be able to write about soon.
Lower left is my daughter Anna who is interning with the Sisters of Visitation in North Minneapolis this year, and by her is Andy Cohen, our web services dev lead and manager. Read Andy’s recent post on a key aspect of our web technology, impersonation, here.
On stage (left) is Rob, co-developer of our WebCenter6 product. He’s very soft-spoken at work so I wouldn’t have guessed he’d have such a beautiful voice.
Evenings like this make me really happy and give me a lot of hope for the future of our society.
