Scary Job: What Is The Workers Comp Rate For That One?

I admit, I’m scared of heights. Watching this video makes me sick.

But someone has to climb to the top of the tower. I’m just glad it’s not me. I honestly can’t believe people can do this on a daily basis.

Impressive.

The worst part is when he is “free climbing” — without any kind of of safety rope — on top of a tower that is taller than the Empire State Building.

Whatever it is it’s not enough. I couldn’t do this for a seven figure salary.

I bet they are all one to two person operations that are sub contractors to the tower owners and therefore probably dont have to have workers comp as they are the owners.

According to OSHA, in 2006 tower climbing was the most dangerous job in America with a death rate of 183.6 out of 100,000.
