Both Manpower and Staffing Industry Analysts got some nice press today from the New York Times Business Edition in an article about employers increasingly favoring temp help.

Quoting a Manpower exec:

But the whole notion of what constitutes a permanent job may simply be changing. Workers “need to expect that their lives and jobs will change much more often than they have in the past,” said Jonas Prising, president of the Americas at Manpower.

But Manpower got some nice hard back-links from it.  And in the PR business, what else matters these days?

Hats off to the PR agency that got this into the NYT.  How it is news I’m not sure – it was your prototypical article about commitment-fearing employers.
