…you’re (* usually Paul or I correct these spelling mistakes after the fact…see the comment below) employees can’t afford to get to the job site. Who to thank? We can start with our Nobel-prize winning energy secretary Steven Chu who said recently he wasn’t interested in keeping gas prices down, an approach that apparently had its effect on the Obama administration’s rejection of the Keystone pipeline project.

Wow. First of all….the first sentence should read “…your employees…” not “…you’re…” which is a contraction meaning “you are.”
Next, time to grow up Gregg. For far too long, this country has been lulled into thinking it had a RIGHT to pilfer the world’s oil reserves forever at rock bottom prices. The rest of the world enjoys no such thing. Ever try to fill up your tank in Canada?
Your right wing blather is so tedious that I am no longer going to subscribe to this rag. There is nothing more annoying than imbecilic business owners who think everyone they talk to has the same political views. We don’t. I am a successful business owner who happens to be very liberal. And yes, that means I’m concerned about what we’re doing to this planet.
Kudos to ANYONE who has slowed down the Keystone project while we study the impacts on the environment.

Deb…thanks for the correction on my misspelling of ‘your’ however I take exception to both the tone of your comment – disrespectful – and your mischaracterization of Staffing Talk.
We run thoughtful posts – along with my rants – of all kinds, and just this last week I got angry email about a left-wing post we recently did on the hardships of warehouse work. Also, David Gee, a professional journalist and a friend who is hardly my kindred spirit on politics, writes our most substantial posts.
Staffing Talk, unlike our mainstream media, respects all points of view.
