How to Radically Improve Your Margins in Staffing

Most staffing companies underprice their services. This happens because they choose or fall into business relationships with people, HR people primarily, that undervalue those services. You can radically improve your margins and help your client out at the same time by eliminating or marginalizing these undervaluing agents.

It’s not just staffing companies that get the short-end from HR, it’s everyone in general. Mr. HISTALK describes this organization affliction this way:

HR is the laughingstock of every company, floating on a higher, layoff-free cloud than the people actually producing, convinced they’re doing God’s work in losing applications, writing unenforced policies, and keeping reams of paperwork that no one ever looks at. They’re always, always top-heavy with managers, directors, and VPs, too. This is an immutable law of business, right up there with “finance will never have its own budget cut” or “the most technically illiterate hospital executives will get the fanciest technical gadgetry and pester the help desk incessantly when they screw it up.
