Everyone knows that health care laws are changing. Do you know how these laws will affect you? We do.

We have been busy building features into our software that will help you manage your tax liability. The more you know, the better decisions you will make.

Medicare Taxes
Starting 1/1/2013, an additional Medicare tax of 0.9% will apply to income in excess of $200,000 for a single filer. TempWorks Enterprise has been updated to account for these new tax calculations, and will calculate the proper withholdings after the employee hits the income threshold.

W-2 Reporting
In 2013, all employers will have to report the cost of health insurance (both the employer's share, and the employee's share) on each employee's W-2 form. TempWorks offers printing and processing of W-2s -- and the ability to handle this process completely.

Notice of Health Care Exchange
Beginning 3/1/2013, employers must provide all employees and new hires with a written notice of the availability of the health care exchange. TempWorks Enterprise can handle the digital administration of these notices and provide employees with access to them -- for new employees as well as previous hires.

Employer Mandate
In 2014, employers with over 50 FT employees will have to provide coverage that meets minimum requirements. PT employees also count and penalties will be assessed for non-compliance. TempWorks will calculate and aggregate hours and inform you whether or not the Employer Mandate will apply to you.

Tax Conferences
We frequently attend tax conferences where the main topic of discussion is Obamacare, and how it will impact employers. It's just one of the many ways we are ensuring that TempWorks Enterprise is up-to-date and ready to handle any changes which may occur.

Compliance
Because our finger is on the pulse of the ACA, we will be able to anticipate and respond to changes in the law. ACA compliancy is guaranteed.
