The Le Figaro article describes how con-artists set up fake companies and got temp firms to payroll their fake immigrant employees with whom they split the booty. They systematically moved from one temp firm to the next and raked in some $2 million. Apparently, the authorities have apprehended the ring leaders which means they might get a slap on the hand and set free because in France honest business people (l’entreprise) are bad guys and criminals are ‘victims of society’ – something I hope Sarko will change.
